Meet the Psychics

Ginny Carlson and Michael Todd created Psychic Reality in 1995. Each contributes a wealth of business and life experience to produce this “Healing Oasis”   in the heart of downtown Oakland. The retail merchandise focuses on the healing arts and the energy in the store is set at a healing vibration.

Ginny and Michael offer sensitive, comprehensive clairvoyant readings. Their spirit-to-spirit communication facilitates change in the client’s space. They are both graduates of the Berkeley Psychic Institute and have completed extensive post-graduate programs. (By 1991 Ginny completed a total of 5 programs and by 1996 Michael completed a total of 6 programs). Ginny completed the five-year Trance Medium program at the Aesclepion Healing Center in 1996 and the  three Trance Medium Control Program in July 2001. Ginny has 24 years of reading and healing experience.

Ginny has also completed the Hands on Healing Program, Spiritual Wellness I and currently is in the twenty one month Spiritual Wellness II program at Aesclepion. Ginny is certified in Swedish Massage, Asian Systems, Sports/Deep tissue Massage and Touch for a Diverse Population programs at the McKinnon Institute. Ginny is also attending the Upledger Institute Workshop programs in San Francisco and has completed CranioSacral Therapy I and II, SomatoEmotional Release I and II. Ginny is also currently in the teacher Assistant program at the Upledger Institute. Michael graduated the five-year Trance Medium program in January 2001, the three year Trance Medium Control Program in July 2003,  Spiritual Wellness I, and currently is in the twenty one month Spiritual Wellness II program at Aesclepion. Michael has 21 years of reading and healing experience.

Featured at Psychic Reality are three parrots and four lovebirds, who act as the “peanut gallery” and contribute to the warm ambiance of the store. The parrots have extensive vocabularies and will talk and sing to the customers as their mood strikes. Also, Merlin and Gwen, the two Dalmatians, come to work daily.
